Our first session, hosted by Brad Gibbs, C. Ped (C), will be a forum on the hand craftsmanship that defines us as artisans. Panel members will focus their discussion on specific pathologies and ideologies that celebrate what it truly means to be a Pedorthist. Brad will be joined by Pierre Bujold, C. Ped (C), Linda Deschamps, C. Ped (C), Josee Gingras, C. Ped (C), Andrew Godwin, C. Ped (C), and Cindie Houde, C. Ped (C).

Pierre Bujold, C. Ped (C)
Linda Deschamps, C. Ped (C)
Linda graduated in Kinesiology from Waterloo University in 1988. Immediately after, she began a fulfilling pedorthic career beginning in Guelph and ending in Kingston Ontario where she had owned two successful Pedorthic clinics. During many of these years, Linda was active on the PAC board and was also a Western University instructor within their Pedorthic Program teaching Footwear and Footwear Modifications.
Brad Gibbs, C. Ped (C)
Brad has been a pedorthist since 1988 and has had his own business in Cambridge Ontario since 1990. A past president of PAC and long time member of the Professional Development committee, Brad has been passionate about the profession for 35+ years. In his spare time, Brad enjoys frisbee with his dog Jasper, cross country skiing, scuba diving…and lately, pickleball.
Josee Gingras, C. Ped (C)
As a graduate of the University of Guelph-Humber with a degree in Kinesiology and a diploma in Fitness and Health Promotion, Josée Gingras came to the field of Pedorthics with the goal of improving people’s quality of life through movement and mobility. She practiced at The Stride Clinics (formerly Walking Mobility Clinics) in Orillia and Barrie, as well as fabricated the orthotics and footwear modification for both clinics. She loves being able to work with her hands and manage the client experience from initial assessment through fabrication and follow-up, creating a lasting and valued improvement in her client’s daily life.
Andrew Godwin, C. Ped (C)
Andrew has been working in Pedorthics since 1992. He currently is in a clinical, fabrication and managerial role for Okaped which he cofounded in 1997. He manages the in-house central lab facility for Okaped’s five clinics. Working with biofoam, modifications to plaster casts in an individualized artisan approach for almost 30 years, he strives to provide the best possible care for his clients. He is currently exploring digital scanning and 3D printing. He will present a Morton’s Foot case study and the importance of knowing the precise metatarsal head alignment for proper metatarsal pad positioning.
Cindie Houde, C. Ped (C)
Cindie Houde is a Canadian Certified Pedorthist, a member in good standing since 2018, and is currently managing two Ottawa Pedorthic locations. Cindie attended the University of Ottawa where she completed two degrees: a Bachelor in Social Sciences as well as an Honor's Bachelor in Health Sciences, before completing the Pedorthics program through Western University.
